Yes, I had my same cheap camera... but for some reason it took nice pictures today.. think the camera knew it was a historical event??? This is just seconds after they announce lift off.. trust me it goes fast...

I think you can see the curve nicely in this shot... I wanted to get as many pictures as I could... it was a beautiful site....


Heading farther away.. the sky was just perfect... look at how clear this shot came out.. even with my cheap camera!

Okay you may need a magnifying glass for this one.. but if you look really close you will notice to the top left of the shuttle a white spot.. that is our live view of the rocket boosters separating & falling back to the ocean...


This was just too pretty to leave without a photo of.. it was the smoke trail in the sky on that perfectly gorgeous day.. this was probably the best launch we've been to yet..the sky was perfect for us... it was like God planned it for John Glenn to have a perfect takeoff... Maybe because the world was watching this one??
